If you are currently a member of another MLS and your office is located outside of Dane, Rock, Green, Sauk, Columbia or Dodge counties, you can subscribe to the South Central Wisconsin MLS under the Limited Participation Agreement. If you are not currently a member of another MLS, this membership option is not available to you.
Under this option, you, as the broker, can submit eligible listings for publication on the South Central Wisconsin MLS. You are not obligated to submit all of your listings, but rather can submit only those you feel will benefit from exposure to Participants and Users of the South Central Wisconsin MLS. If you choose to submit a listing for an agent within your office, please be advised that your name, as the broker, will appear as the listing agent. You may include the name and contact information for the actual listing agent in the additional wisconsinhomes.com and broker-to-broker remarks section (but not in the general MLS remarks, which is reserved for property description). Listings submitted must comply with all MLS rules as published in the MLS Handbook.
With this membership option access to the MLS listing database is not available nor is an offer of compensation made to the Participant Member by other Participants of the SCWMLS.*
If, at a later date, you decide to become a full access member of the South Central Wisconsin MLS, you will be expected to pay the MLS initiation fee, additional quarterly dues assessments based on the number of licensees with the company and any other applicable fees.
*MLS computer access and an offer of compensation are available for those belonging to the Metro Milwaukee MLS or Central Wisconsin MLS under the reciprocal agreement between the South Central Wisconsin MLS and those other MLSs.
